About the role
- Design, develop, and deliver tailored Proof of Concepts (POCs) for Presales teams
- Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders (Sales, Solution Consultants, clients)
- Translate client needs into objectives and success criteria for POCs
- Perform in-depth research on FP&A and modeling methodologies relevant to client verticals
- Architect scalable, flexible, and efficient POC models leveraging Datarails functionalities
- Apply best practices in data integration, modeling, automation, and visualization
- Tailor each POC to prospective client needs while showcasing system strengths
- Partner with Solution Consultants to align expectations, timelines, and outcomes
- Support Solution Consultants during client presentations and explain POC logic and assumptions
- Iterate on POCs based on feedback and evolving client inputs
- Create comprehensive documentation outlining structure, logic, and assumptions for each POC
- Maintain version history and records of delivered POCs and build/update internal templates and reusable components
- Share insights and lessons learned to drive internal learning and continuous improvement of POC processes
Requirements
- Previous experience working with Datarails or similar FP&A software solutions
- Strong understanding of FP&A concepts and P&L, balance sheet and cash flow modeling principles
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Presales, Product, and Marketing teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to quickly understand customer needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner
- Collaboration skills to partner with Solution Consultants and Sales
- Must be based in the UK; no sponsorship or relocation assistance available
