Performance Marketing

• Own and drive the overarching paid social strategy across a portfolio of high-growth U.S. brands, ensuring alignment between media investment, creative output, and business objectives.
• Serve as the executive point of contact for senior client stakeholders — presenting quarterly business reviews, growth roadmaps, and performance forecasts to CMOs and marketing leadership.
• Partner with the Managing Director to define team OKRs, capacity planning, and service delivery standards across the Paid Social practice.
• Champion Darkroom's paid social point of view, staying ahead of platform changes, algorithmic shifts, and emerging formats to inform both client strategy and internal best practices.
• Lead the development of annual and quarterly paid media plans, including budget allocation, channel mix, audience strategy, and creative roadmaps.
• Oversee campaign architecture, optimization frameworks, and testing methodologies across 8–15 paid media accounts with aggregate monthly spends ranging from $500K–$5M+.
• Drive best-in-class performance across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Axon, and CTV, with deep mastery of direct response principles and short-form video creative strategy.
• Establish and enforce rigorous KPI frameworks — CPA, CAC, iROAS, nCAC, MER, aMER, CTR, TSR, and Hold Rate — ensuring data-driven decision-making at every level.
• Architect and pressure-test attribution models in partnership with Analytics, ensuring clients have a clear and accurate view of cross-channel performance.
• Proactively identify growth opportunities through competitive intelligence, audience expansion, and creative iteration — translating insights into actionable channel strategies.
• Serve as the senior creative strategist on accounts, guiding clients and internal creative teams on hook construction, format selection, messaging hierarchy, and creative testing frameworks.
• Develop scalable creative testing systems that connect production investment directly to performance outcomes.
• Advise clients on creative budget allocation across UGC, motion, static, and short-form video to maximize return at each funnel stage.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Paid Social Managers and Specialists, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a culture of accountability and craft.
• Conduct structured performance reviews and build individualized growth plans for direct reports.
• Establish internal quality standards for campaign builds, reporting, and client deliverables — and ensure consistent adherence across the team.
• Act as an escalation point for complex performance challenges and client issues, providing senior-level guidance and resolution.

Associate Director, Paid Social

Director

• Creative Strategy: Lead high-tempo creative strategy and direction for full-funnel ad programs, typically Meta and TikTok, but also YouTube, Amazon, and Display Platforms.
• Short Form Video Expert: Deliver expert advice, concepts, directions, and briefs to sell products and services through short-form video.
• Data Analysis: Translate client’s marketing strategy and performance data into clear, compelling ad concepts (This includes using metrics like thumb-stop rate, hold rate, and clickthrough rate. You’re super comfortable adapting creatives to impact these metrics.)
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Brief Designers and Editors on the creation of assets including static ads, animations, mobile-first videos, and storyboards for short-form content. You’re capable of jumping into shape up a design in Figma or whip up an ad yourself without concern, if need be. This isn’t the role for strategy-only folks.
• Executive Presentation: Present creative work to stakeholders and clients with clarity, confidence, and strategic rationale.
• Performance Iteration: Monitor performance data in collaboration with the marketing team to inform creative iterations and improve results over time.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Own the Flight Plan Infrastructure: The Flight Plan is Darkroom's proprietary financial and operational infrastructure built specifically for e-commerce brands. It includes dashboard systems and P&L frameworks designed to give clients real-time visibility into their business performance.
• Managing the full lifecycle of the Flight Plan from client onboarding through full operational deployment.
• Ensuring each client's Flight Plan is properly set up, maintained, and generating actionable insights.
• Monitoring the health and accuracy of each client's operational and financial dashboards (P&Ls, revenue tracking, margin reporting, etc.).
• Proactively identifying gaps or inefficiencies in a client's infrastructure and driving resolution.
• Ensure clients are actively using and benefiting from the insights derived from their Flight Plan.
• Support the Financial Advisory Department: Operating two core services to e-commerce brands: cash flow management and financial strategy.
• Oversee the bookkeeper responsible for day-to-day cash flow operations across client engagements.
• Review and validate the accuracy of cash flow reports, aging schedules, and working capital summaries produced by the bookkeeper.
• Ensure the bookkeeper is maintaining clean, audit-ready records and flagging liquidity risks in a timely manner.

Growth Operations – Financial Advisory Manager

Account Manager

• Define and execute the overarching brand strategy, including channel selection, product positioning, channel mix, pricing approach, and go-to-market planning.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketplaces to ensure catalog accuracy and product / pricing consistency across Amazon, maintaining high standards of data quality and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular, strategic communication; manage and deliver against the client agenda with clarity and accountability.
• Lead sales forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment processes to meet revenue and operational targets.
• Partner with the Advertising Manager to set and track ACOS/TACOS targets, ensuring advertising efficiency aligns with broader business objectives.
• Present data-driven insights and performance updates in both verbal and written formats, ensuring transparency and alignment with client goals.

Account Lead, Marketplace

Community Manager

• Build and manage relationships with our content creators, UGC producers, and influencers across verticals.
• Own the full creator workflow: outreach, briefing, content review, approval, and performance tracking.
• Identify new creator opportunities that align with Darkroom's brand and content goals.
• Coordinate with creators to source and repurpose content assets for use across social, email, and web.
• Maintain a creator CRM and keep relationships warm and organized.
• Build and manage a marketing partnership pipeline: identify aligned brands, agencies, tools, and communities for co-marketing opportunities.
• Source and coordinate guests, collaborators, and co-hosts for Darkroom's webinars, podcasts, and live events.
• Project-manage and produce Darkroom's events calendar including webinars, office hours, and brand-led activations, from logistics and promotion to recap and follow-up.
• Coordinate podcast appearances and guest features: research opportunities, manage outreach, prepare briefs, and track coverage.
• Support the production and distribution of co-branded guides and gated content, coordinating with writers, designers, and external marketing partners to get assets across the finish line.
• Help develop affiliate and referral relationships that feed Darkroom's inbound funnel.
• Maintain a running calendar and CRM for all events and marketing partnership activity, keeping stakeholders informed and deadlines on track.
• Own community engagement across all Darkroom social channels (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube), responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a voice that reflects our brand.
• Monitor social sentiment and flag relevant conversations, trends, or opportunities for the broader team.
• Work closely with the content writer to ensure our posts and campaigns land well and generate real conversation.
• Track community health metrics and report on what is working and what is not.

Community & Creator Marketing Manager

Manager

• Creator Network Ownership: Build and scale Darkroom’s proprietary TikTok creator network, with a focus on retention, performance, and brand alignment.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor Creator Leads and Creator Managers; establish best practices for outreach, onboarding, and relationship management.
• Program Development: Launch structured creator tiers, perks, and incentives that improve creator experience and output.
• CRM & Systems Oversight: Own the development of Darkroom’s creator CRM, reporting infrastructure, and tracking tools to manage scale and performance.
• Campaign Oversight: Collaborate with Strategists and the Director of TikTok Shop to match creators to campaigns, track output, and ensure delivery meets content and performance standards.
• Event Strategy: Lead the execution of creator-facing events, activations, and livestream initiatives that strengthen relationships and drive GMV.
• Performance Accountability: Report on creator campaign success, affiliate revenue contribution, and content quality trends using structured KPIs and platform data.
• Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with Accounts, Strategy, Media Buying, and Creative to align creator work with client objectives and campaign timelines.
