• Creative Strategy: Lead high-tempo creative strategy and direction for full-funnel ad programs, typically Meta and TikTok, but also YouTube, Amazon, and Display Platforms.
• Short Form Video Expert: Deliver expert advice, concepts, directions, and briefs to sell products and services through short-form video.
• Data Analysis: Translate client’s marketing strategy and performance data into clear, compelling ad concepts (This includes using metrics like thumb-stop rate, hold rate, and clickthrough rate. You’re super comfortable adapting creatives to impact these metrics.)
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Brief Designers and Editors on the creation of assets including static ads, animations, mobile-first videos, and storyboards for short-form content. You’re capable of jumping into shape up a design in Figma or whip up an ad yourself without concern, if need be. This isn’t the role for strategy-only folks.
• Executive Presentation: Present creative work to stakeholders and clients with clarity, confidence, and strategic rationale.
• Performance Iteration: Monitor performance data in collaboration with the marketing team to inform creative iterations and improve results over time.
• Team Building: Assist with establishing processes, systems, and testing frameworks that raise the floor on quality and speed. Continuously refine our Performance Creative service so it scales without losing rigor as volume grows.

Associate Director of Performance Creative

SEO Marketing

• Own the day-to-day execution of Darkroom's SEO: on-page optimization, internal linking, metadata, structured data, and content updates
• Conduct keyword research and map search intent to opportunities across the Observatory, case studies, and landing pages
• Architect topic clusters, pillar pages, and refresh cycles so the Observatory compounds in authority over time, instead of running like a publishing treadmill
• Run regular technical audits and fix issues across crawlability, site speed, broken links, and schema markup
• Own Darkroom's llms.txt and AEO strategy so the brand surfaces in AI Overviews, Perplexity, ChatGPT, and emerging answer engines
• Build content briefs that pre-load search intent, entity coverage, SERP gaps, and competitor angles before a writer ever touches a draft
• Run our co-marketing backlink program with martech, measurement, and AI partners. Own the partner content calendar and make sure reciprocal commitments actually ship
• Maintain a live read on share of voice, SERP movement, and competitor content velocity across DTC and ecommerce verticals
• Track organic performance weekly across rankings, traffic, and impressions, and turn it into a strategic point of view. Surface what to double down on, what to kill, and what to test next
• Use AI tools to scale keyword clustering, on-page optimization, and reporting. Turn manual SEO tasks into repeatable workflows wherever possible

SEO Associate

Account Manager

• Define and execute the overarching brand strategy, including channel selection, product positioning, channel mix, pricing approach, and go-to-market planning.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketplaces to ensure catalog accuracy and product / pricing consistency across Amazon, maintaining high standards of data quality and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular, strategic communication; manage and deliver against the client agenda with clarity and accountability.
• Lead sales forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment processes to meet revenue and operational targets.
• Partner with the Advertising Manager to set and track ACOS/TACOS targets, ensuring advertising efficiency aligns with broader business objectives.

• Coordinate with the Account Lead to ensure catalog quality control—confirming that product details, pricing, and content updates are accurate and consistent across Amazon.
• Maintain and update product catalogs via Seller Central and Vendor Central, ensuring data integrity across all SKUs.
• Update PDPs, upload creatives, and implement listing optimizations, including copy, imagery, and A+/EBC content.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and manage parent/child variations to maximize discoverability.
• Perform A/B testing on listings (images, text) and implement improvements based on results.
• Check and resolve suppressed listings, stranded inventory, and compliance issues in Account Health.
• Set up and manage support cases for catalog or listing issues.

• Developing campaigns where all marketing channels are working together and be able to clearly articulate overall themes as well as trends across the paid media plan.
• Work on financial projections, budgets, P&L, and other financial documents to be shared internally, with the client, and used as a north star for work.
• Work with our data team to deliver financial projections, customer cohort analyses, and media plans.
• Work with Darkroom Finance team to project client spend and increase it based on performance.
• Leverage these data insights to develop unique marketing strategies across various industries.
• Lead multiple teams of designers, paid acquisition marketers, retention marketers, and data analysts across the globe for your client portfolio.
• Work with Darkroom success to develop fractional and dedicated marketing org charts based on client needs.

Director, Growth Strategy

Operations

• Own the Flight Plan Infrastructure
• Managing the full lifecycle of the Flight Plan from client onboarding through full operational deployment.
• Ensuring each client's Flight Plan is properly set up, maintained, and generating actionable insights.
• Monitoring the health and accuracy of each client's operational and financial dashboards — including P&Ls, revenue tracking, and margin reporting.
• Proactively identifying gaps or inefficiencies in a client's infrastructure and driving resolution.
• Ensuring clients are actively using and benefiting from the insights derived from their Flight Plan.
