About the role

  • Responsible for sales in the Data Center market as part of the North America team
  • Strengthen relationships, increase share of wallet, and secure new opportunities to achieve sales growth targets
  • Articulate and communicate plans to create engagement and lead growth
  • Own sales growth and relationship of assigned accounts; plan, coordinate and execute sales efforts
  • Work closely with Danfoss customer service, engineering and product teams to provide appropriate support
  • Execute targeted sales growth aligned with Data Center strategy focusing on net new wins
  • Develop and maintain broad customer relationships covering key decision makers and departments
  • Establish and execute a value selling approach to support growth, revenue and strategic market position
  • Utilize a professional sales process to uncover customer needs, handle objections, and determine solutions
  • Conduct periodic business reviews with customers and Danfoss leadership to quantify opportunities and identify gaps
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (teammates, customer service, business units, design engineers, applications engineers, pricing, quality) to ensure high levels of support
  • Maintain organized and accurate CRM reports for internal performance

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience
  • 2-3 years experience in the data center market in some capacity (liquid cooling related ideal)
  • Experience working in a global matrixed or otherwise complex environment
  • Able to effectively work remotely at home and report to US based supervisor
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestic (regional); may require international travel on rare occasion
  • Strong relationship-building and value-selling skills
  • Ability to coordinate with customer service, engineering, product, and internal stakeholders
  • CRM record-keeping and sales process discipline
