Account Executive

• Assist with the VMI customer space/placement, sets up the appropriate area to receive shipment of material and stocks product in the customer's designated area.
• Maintains awareness of min/max, reorder point/quantity and reports observations back to management.
• Generate and manage your own schedule based on inventory needs, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
• Conduct physical inventory counts.
• Replenish materials as needed.
• Ensure safe operation of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
• Collaborate with sales teams to promote products and services, assist with product evaluations, and contribute to pricing strategies.
• Learn the specifications of common electrical items (e.g., conduit, fittings, wire, breakers, fuses).
• Communicate with foremen & internal teams for new sales needs or future needs.

Vendor Management Inventory Coordinator

Manager

• Manage branch performance to assure alignment with all policies, practices and culture of the organization
• Oversee preparation of branch budget for Sioux Falls, and monitor actual performance to ensure that the branch achieves objectives
• Develop and maintain business relationships with current and potential customers and suppliers
• Monitor competitive conditions in the territory, and build relationships to gain market share in new areas in the industrial and contractor market
• Oversee branch inventory status (e.g. cycle counts with RF system), including daily reconciliation of discrepancies and adjustments
• Interact regularly with customers to drive customer service and achieve sales goals through addressing, mediating, and resolving customer concerns, complaints, and issues
• Support initial and ongoing training and qualifications of all branch employees
• Conduct performance evaluations and address branch personnel issues
• Interview and hire applicants for branch positions
• Report accidents in a timely manner & conducts the appropriate accident investigation process and follows up with associate in accordance with guidance provided by the Safety and HR team

Outside Sales

• Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing customers in order to increase revenue and gross margin performance on a yearly basis.
• Analyze the needs of your customers and ensure that Northeast’s current products and services consistently meet those needs.
• Emphasize our capability with our Digital Tools (website, mobile app, ELink, EQuotes, etc.)
• Responsible to participate in on-going training for Digital Tools.
• Continuously develop and offer original value add solutions as customers’ needs change.
• Provide technical assistance to customers and use industry and product knowledge to support and build sales.
• Work with internal company resources to ensure customers are getting the best service on day-to-day stock sales.
• Help bridge relationship between customers and our inside support teams to drive project business.
• Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager to drive and support alignment with the company’s strategic initiatives.

Outside Sales – Industrial

Project Manager

• Receive and review project information handed off by a member of our sales team
• Confirm job hand off is complete and discuss discrepancies with salesperson
• Provide lighting submittal in timely manner for customer approval
• Review returned submittal, confirm required information for release is provided and approved
• Enter purchase orders accurately into Job Management system for release to vendors
• Pro-actively manage the project and ensure our customers our provided continuous updates
• Work with customers and agents to develop solutions for job issues as they arise
• Perform job closeout at project completion per established policy and procedures
• Perform other related job duties as required or directed by manager
