About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for maintaining product knowledge and is encouraged to market and promote new products.
- Assist customers during the sales/purchase process and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
- Assist with warehouse functions as needed on a daily basis.
- Assist customers during the sales process using ERP software, while maintaining professional sales demeanor.
- Ability to track and fulfill sales orders by picking orders, creating appropriate documentation, and placing follow-up calls.
- Ability to maintain and develop customer relationships.
- Actively stay up to date on product knowledge and generate product stock request.
- Arrange and organize point of sale displays and shelves to ensure products are visually appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and replenish merchandise.
- Ensure all pricing, labels and promotional signage are accurate and visible.
- Create and maintain positive working relationships and a safe and clean environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent, as determined by Echo Electric.
- A minimum of one year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products.
- Ability to effectively communicate, stay organized and work within a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
- Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.
- Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level or commitment to complete such training within 18 months of starting job assignment.
