About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for maintaining product knowledge and is encouraged to market and promote new products.
  • Assist customers during the sales/purchase process and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Assist with warehouse functions as needed on a daily basis.
  • Assist customers during the sales process using ERP software, while maintaining professional sales demeanor.
  • Ability to track and fulfill sales orders by picking orders, creating appropriate documentation, and placing follow-up calls.
  • Ability to maintain and develop customer relationships.
  • Actively stay up to date on product knowledge and generate product stock request.
  • Arrange and organize point of sale displays and shelves to ensure products are visually appealing.
  • Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and replenish merchandise.
  • Ensure all pricing, labels and promotional signage are accurate and visible.
  • Create and maintain positive working relationships and a safe and clean environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or equivalent, as determined by Echo Electric.
  • A minimum of one year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, stay organized and work within a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.
  • Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level or commitment to complete such training within 18 months of starting job assignment.
