About the role
- Managerial oversight of multiple facilities, an entire campus, or a portfolio of client facilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of facilities ensuring services like custodial, life-safety, engineering and maintenance are effectively delivered
- Manage service contracts, conduct RFPs, perform financial reviews and ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met
- Lead facility management team in maintenance, tenant relations, and contract reviews
- Prepare and deliver budgets, financial reports, forecasts, and business plans
- Assist in development of capital budgets and five-year maintenance plans
- Coordinate collection and analysis of facility management metrics and KPIs
- Approve positions, hire, train, evaluate and manage facility staff
- Manage customer focus, vendor management, insurance compliance and claims coordination
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management or Business Administration required
- Minimum of 8-10 years of facility management experience with at least 3 years at the level of Facility Manager
- Experience in leasing, construction, engineering and all facets of property operation and building management
- Experience with human resource and performance management processes
- Experience with critical system environments preferred
- CMMS/Work Order Management experience preferred
