About the role

  • Lead the strategic direction and operational delivery of Total Rewards service lines (Health & Wellness Benefits, Retirement/Pension, TR Engagement, Broad-Based Compensation) across APAC.
  • Partner with Geographic People Support Leaders, Payroll, and HR Operations to ensure seamless and consistent HR support for employees.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders including COEs, HRBPs, Regional Benefits, and TR leadership to align with business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with regional labor laws and maintain constructive union relationships where applicable.
  • Represent APAC in the Global Total Rewards leadership team, providing regional insights for global decision-making.
  • Monitor service delivery metrics and SLAs; implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage regional budgets and operating plans; track performance and financial outcomes.
  • Oversee customer satisfaction and service quality; act on feedback to enhance employee experience.
  • Coach and mentor team members; manage workload distribution and performance development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Advanced degree or certification in HR or Total Rewards is a plus.
  • Significant experience in international HR service delivery, including leadership, compliance, and budget management.
  • Proven success in managing regional HR operations in a multinational environment, ideally across APAC.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience working with unionized environments and labor relations is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, cultural adaptability, and collaboration skills.
  • Core competencies: communicates effectively, customer focus, self-awareness, values differences.
  • Technical competencies: benefits design & administration, compensation strategy, mobility & payroll administration, change management, data analytics, facilitation & consulting.
  • Leadership competencies: cultural agility, strategic thinking, relationship building, results orientation.
  • Note: direct technical experience in Total Rewards is not required; experience in Total Rewards considered an asset.
