About the role
- Act as Product Owner for Umo Pass and cFlex, owning product delivery and success
- Drive vision, strategy, and roadmap for Mobility Essentials team
- Define and prioritize user stories with product, customers, business owners, and stakeholders
- Work closely with product management, system architects, engineering teams, and business owners
- Shape and deliver innovative agency and rider experiences for electronic fare payment systems
- Refine and maintain the program backlog; accept stories upon completion
- Collaborate across the Umo product portfolio and 3rd party partners to ensure flexibility and integration
- Drive operational efficiency and return on investment with product, program, and engineering teams
- Identify new market opportunities and partnerships with business development
- Focus on rapid delivery through efficient, automated processes and hands-on engineering collaboration
Requirements
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of Product Owner, product management, or related experience
- Experience with Agile, Kanban, or Scrum (must)
- Experience being bottom-line responsible for delivering products
- An absolute passion for improving the customer experience and the journeys of their customers
- Advanced abilities to prioritize, triage, and ultimately address unexpected challenges
- Demonstrated ability to use knowledge and data to evolve product strategy
- A refined ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while still having fun
- Diversity of experience in product management, project management, vendor management, user experience, or customer support (preferred)
- Direct experience with Software-As-A-Service business models (preferred)
- Success driving strategy through behavioral analytics tools, use of feature flags, and customer engagement platforms (preferred)
- SAFe, Scrum, or other related Agile practice certifications (preferred)
