About the role
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process: posting job requisitions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating staffing needs
- Utilize recruitment platforms and networking strategies to source and engage candidates and build talent pipeline
- Maintain an active presence in professional groups and industry networks
- Send timely recruitment updates and follow-ups via phone and email
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with company and legal standards
- Administer pre-employment drug tests and background checks for all employees
- Prepare and distribute offer letters and new hire paperwork for incoming employees
- Ensure all employee records are accurate and complete
- Provide a seamless onboarding experience focused on exceptional communication and candidate experience
- Serve as a point of contact for routine employee and applicant inquiries and foster positive employee experience
- Assist with various HR projects and initiatives and perform additional HR-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
- 1–2 years of HR experience, with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations
- Knowledge of standard HR practices, employment regulations, and compliance requirements
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Must be smart, savvy, strategic, fun, and ready to learn fast and work hard
- Ability to work 8AM - 5PM EST including overtime
- Quiet work area with no background noises
- Reliable internet and electricity
- Mandatory video recording as part of application
- Comfortable being on camera and microphone during entire shift in a virtual office
- Computer will be monitored by Teramind and applicant must be comfortable with monitoring
- System requirements: 5th generation Intel i5 or equivalent processor; minimum 4.00 GB RAM; Windows 10 or Mac OSX only
- Internet speed: 5.0 MBPS primary and backup (backup must be capable of serving as primary)
- Required headset: noise-cancelling USB headset
- Required webcam: at least 3 megapixels capable of 720p recording
- Ability to administer/coordinate pre-employment drug tests and background checks
- Experience preparing offer letters and new hire paperwork
- Experience maintaining accurate employee records
