About the role
- Own the full P&L for Credible’s Marketplace business spanning SEO, publisher partnerships, and performance channels
- Set ambitious revenue and profitability targets, develop budgets, forecast growth, and deliver results with regular reporting to senior leadership
- Lead and expand publisher partnerships: cultivate relationships, negotiate deals, sign and launch new partnerships, and scale across categories
- Launch and scale programs in new categories by identifying opportunities, driving contract negotiations, and overseeing onboarding of new partners
- Drive marketplace expansion through SEO strategy to grow share of voice (SOV), increase on-page engagement, and expand into new product verticals
- Spearhead strategic revenue initiatives and coordinate cross-functional teams to accelerate publisher revenue
- Champion product and tech integration: partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize and deliver platform enhancements or custom solutions
- Build and scale teams across SEO, partnerships, product, and marketing; foster accountability and executional excellence
- Monitor partner performance metrics and market trends; use data analysis to identify optimization opportunities and inform decisions
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Finance, Legal, Operations) to ensure smooth, compliant execution of partnership programs
- Report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and provide regular executive updates via weekly performance meetings, monthly deep dives, and quarterly business reviews
- Manage high-impact publisher relationships and lead cross-functional workstreams to meet aggressive growth objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or other advanced degree is a plus)
- 10+ years of experience in marketplace, SEO, or growth leadership roles
- Proven experience owning or managing a business unit or channel P&L, including setting financial targets, forecasting revenue, and managing expenses to achieve profitability
- Experience scaling SEO-led growth strategies; performance marketing expertise a strong plus
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and scaling teams
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities; comfortable presenting to C-level executives and crafting compelling decks
- High proficiency in financial modeling and analysis (advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills required)
- Analytical thinker with experience leveraging data and business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI) (experience with such data platforms is a plus)
- Experience succeeding in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; adaptability and problem-solving under pressure
- Experience building organic visibility (SOV) and increasing on-page engagement
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing partner relationships
- Ability to travel to New York every 4–6 weeks and work East Coast hours (remote on East Coast hours)
