About the role

  • Develop a comprehensive content strategy aligned to audience needs, business goals, and solution positioning.
  • Establish a planning and optimization cadence to assess content performance, identify opportunities, and evolve alongside the broader marketing strategy.
  • Stay ahead of content trends, industry best practices, competitive shifts, and emerging technologies.
  • Lead and develop a team of content strategists through daily guidance, feedback, and growth-focused coaching.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content that reflects our brand, communicates solution value, and supports strategic business outcomes.
  • Lead all aspects of content development across formats, including web, email, video, social, and print.
  • Expand multimedia content offerings, driving development of video, audio, and interactive formats to enhance storytelling across channels.
  • Champion editorial standards and oversee content calendars, production schedules, and processes to deliver on-time, high-quality content.
  • Implement SEO/AEO best practices and leverage AI tools to scale content production and deliver personalized experiences.
  • Monitor performance data and convert insights into strategies that boost awareness, engagement, and conversions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in content marketing, with a strong record of leading both content strategy and storytelling
  • Proven ability to lead teams and create high-impact, customer-centric content that supports the full funnel
  • Deep expertise in writing, editing, and messaging across multiple formats and platforms
  • Strong background in integrated marketing strategy and campaign planning
  • Prior experience in legal tech, accounting tech, fintech, or adjacent industries is required
  • Demonstrated ability to use tools like GA4, Tableau, and Salesforce to drive data-informed decisions; working knowledge of CMS and video platforms is beneficial.
  • Experience using Generative AI tools for content strategy and creation a must
  • Ability to travel regularly to Austin, TX or San Diego, CA.
