About the role

  • Lead commercial efforts and launch Countable PCR platform across the Midwest US.
  • Identify and nurture leads; discover and close new business opportunities.
  • Represent Countable Labs at meetings, demonstrations, and scientific conferences.
  • Develop strong customer connections to ensure effective product use and post-sale success.
  • Collaborate with field application scientists and product managers during technical calls and demos.
  • Communicate value proposition, features, and competitive advantages; gather customer feedback.
  • Provide monthly KPI updates and accurate sales forecasts for instruments and consumables.
  • Manage pipeline and customer relationships using SFDC and dashboards.
  • Initially report to the CEO, transitioning to the VP of Sales as organization grows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, immunology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a relevant sales role.
  • Experience selling new technologies, particularly in instrumentation and consumable sales (preferred).
  • Experience in biopharma, especially with gene therapy or oncology applications (a plus).
  • Comfort using SFDC or a similar CRM.
  • Experience in diagnostics sales is a bonus.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in complex purchasing environments with multiple decision-makers.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 50% (including occasional overnight trips).
  • A base in or near the Midwest (preferred).
