About the role
- Lead commercial efforts and launch Countable PCR platform across the Midwest US.
- Identify and nurture leads; discover and close new business opportunities.
- Represent Countable Labs at meetings, demonstrations, and scientific conferences.
- Develop strong customer connections to ensure effective product use and post-sale success.
- Collaborate with field application scientists and product managers during technical calls and demos.
- Communicate value proposition, features, and competitive advantages; gather customer feedback.
- Provide monthly KPI updates and accurate sales forecasts for instruments and consumables.
- Manage pipeline and customer relationships using SFDC and dashboards.
- Initially report to the CEO, transitioning to the VP of Sales as organization grows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, immunology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a relevant sales role.
- Experience selling new technologies, particularly in instrumentation and consumable sales (preferred).
- Experience in biopharma, especially with gene therapy or oncology applications (a plus).
- Comfort using SFDC or a similar CRM.
- Experience in diagnostics sales is a bonus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in complex purchasing environments with multiple decision-makers.
- Flexibility to travel up to 50% (including occasional overnight trips).
- A base in or near the Midwest (preferred).
