About the role
- Receive and review information from Director on contracted event
- Attend site walk with Business Development team
- Complete Event Workbook
- Manage staffing (specific names) and be in charge of all staff at time of event
- Develop menu and submit to Katy Kitchen Manager for ordering
- Confirm all rentals, staffing and third-party vendors 48 hours before event
- Manage rentals (check out, inventory, collect after event, inventory, return)
- Submit asset info to Asset Manager for coordination
- Communicate all details in Katy meeting and review load sheet with staff
- Serve as point of contact for client when Business Development is not present
- Submit Project Manager Report
- Lead pre-event huddle, review timeline, assign positions and tasks
- Conduct final walk 30 minutes before event and final walk after event completion
- Control prep, coordination, and timing of food and beverage
- Communicate with staff concerning timelines and ensure cleanliness of guest spaces
- Oversee breakdown, cleanup, check out with and thank client before leaving
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- College Degree (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Culinary training and/or certifications is a plus
- 10 years Chef experience or 15 years heavy kitchen operational management experience

- Must be willing and able to travel for extended periods of time
