About the role
- Support the Quality Manager and strengthen the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS)
- Conduct and report on internal audits
- Ensure customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements are met
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone)
- Monitor closure and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions
- Support new product introduction, including APQP and PPAP where required
- Analyse quality performance data (COPQ, scrap, complaints, supplier KPIs)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification (essential)
- Knowledge of QMS principles, auditing, and compliance
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings/specifications
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and organised
- Effective communicator across all levels
- Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP system proficiency
- Proven Quality Engineering experience in a regulated environment
- Aerospace or pharmaceutical background advantageous (not essential)
- Experience with PPAP and APQP desirable (not essential)
- Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem-solving training advantageous
