Take the lead in Supplier Quality Rescue Projects, driving issue resolution, action plans and strategic supplier improvement
Collaborate with Team in Brazil to ensure supplier quality targets are met by conducting on-site supplier audits and visits, investigating quality problems, implementing sustainable solutions and providing regular progress updates to Top Management
Perform Risk Assessment during selection process for new Suppliers and provide onboarding training to suppliers
Conduct supplier audits, risk assessments, and technical visits; manage supplier performance (e.g., F4G) and foster continuous improvement; request further measures like stock re-inspections, sub-tier audits, Lean assessments and P3E to production processes
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions while managing non-conformance processes and supplier blocks; ensure execution of concession management process
Support handling of quality requirements, product design and supply chain as well as process changes, monitor supplier performance and drive Lean initiatives
Maintain QM info record and control plans in SAP up to date and provide regular written and verbal reports to partners and Top Management
Requirements
bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher (e.g., Master's degree)
Strong understanding of quality management principles and problem-solving methodologies (Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred)
Experience leading problem-solving projects in operations, supplier management, or development environments
Ability to set up and coordinate supplier problem-solving programs
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
Ability to interpret technical drawings, publications, and reliability analyses
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Analytical, process-oriented thinking with a proactive and assertive approach
Conflict management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Fluent in English (mandatory)
Portuguese, Spanish, German, Italian, or French (a plus)
Willingness to travel internationally, including long-term assignments
