As Sales Executive you are responsible for driving sales and profitability in alignment with our strategic plan and the procurement and sales of products to your customer base
You ensure the quality of sourcing and sales, customer satisfaction, opportunity and risk assessment, departmental improvements, and information exchange with other sales and commodity traders
In this role you work in close collaboration with the commercial and financial departments
Your responsibilities and objectives: Suggest new trade opportunities and product development
Keeps track of international market developments
Keeps track of the results and suggests corrective action plans
Assessing customer payment risks
Ensure optimal customer satisfaction
Responsible for handling product complaints from customers
Define all quality aspects towards all product providers and customers (either when buying/selling on a contract basis or otherwise)
Follows the product specifications as defined by the quality department and adheres to instructions specified by the QA Manager
All other duties as assigned
Ensures all suppliers meet supplier approval with the Quality Assurance Manager
Ensures effective safety procedures, tools, and record-keeping are managed through site leadership
Adheres to company GMP’s (good manufacturing practices), safety procedures, and all other quality processes
Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required
Requirements
BA Business Management, Marketing, International Trade, Agriculture, or related field a plus
At least 5 years of experience in sales, international trade, or a comparable function
Must possess a strong working knowledge of the import/export environment
Successful customer service experience
Working knowledge of ERP systems
Proficiency with MS Office
Proven communication skills – verbal and written
Successful experience finding prospects, turning prospects into leads, and leads into customers' preferred
Demonstrated experience building rapport with customers and curating durable relationships
