About the role
- Focused on the development, testing and implementation of the BDS Quality Business Solutions across BDS Production Sites
- Coordinate Quality Business Solutions across Core Quality Function and Digital Transformation Bedrocks (PLM, MOM and ERP)
- Represent Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into proposals and program processes and documentation
- Provide Quality interpretation of requirements
- Develop quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs
- Conduct capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities
- Participate in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs
- Perform analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness
- Provide material review dispositions for non-conformances and analyze non-conformance trends
- Recommend corrective actions and perform benchmarking to ensure process capability levels are achieved
- Works under general direction
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher in one of relevant fields of study listed
- Experience with AS9100 and/or a similar Quality Management System standard
- 1+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment
- 3 + years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry (preferred)
