About the role
- Sidekick is expanding its freelance talent pool and seeks experienced R&D, Quality & Operations Consultants
- Role requires proven experience in IT service/application management within manufacturing environments
- Expertise expected in PLM/PDM systems, R&D IT, Quality systems, or Smart Factory IT operations
- Exact tasks and responsibilities defined per client request
- Engagements are freelance and project-based
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT service or application management
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Domain expertise in at least one: R&D (CAD/CAE) IT systems; PDM/PLM solutions (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP PLM); Quality management systems / Quality IT operations; Smart Factory IT operations
- Proven track record in vendor management
- Ability to establish and oversee service governance processes
- Knowledge of ITIL / Service Delivery / Service Operations
- Experience with PLM/PDM platforms (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP PLM)
- Understanding of CAD integration or related R&D IT tools is a plus
- Familiarity with low-code platforms (Mendix preferred)
- General knowledge of IT project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, SharePoint)
- Fluent in English
