About the role

  • Sidekick is expanding its freelance talent pool and seeks experienced R&D, Quality & Operations Consultants
  • Role requires proven experience in IT service/application management within manufacturing environments
  • Expertise expected in PLM/PDM systems, R&D IT, Quality systems, or Smart Factory IT operations
  • Exact tasks and responsibilities defined per client request
  • Engagements are freelance and project-based

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT service or application management
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing or production environments
  • Domain expertise in at least one: R&D (CAD/CAE) IT systems; PDM/PLM solutions (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP PLM); Quality management systems / Quality IT operations; Smart Factory IT operations
  • Proven track record in vendor management
  • Ability to establish and oversee service governance processes
  • Knowledge of ITIL / Service Delivery / Service Operations
  • Experience with PLM/PDM platforms (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP PLM)
  • Understanding of CAD integration or related R&D IT tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with low-code platforms (Mendix preferred)
  • General knowledge of IT project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, SharePoint)
  • Fluent in English
