About the role

  • Lead the strategic vision for the evolution of Convoso’s core platform and expansion into partner ecosystems via an API-driven roadmap.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal teams (Engineering, Partnerships, DevOps) and external stakeholders (customers, partners).
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver scalable technical solutions, ensuring client stability and reliability.
  • Serve as the expert on our API Partner Platform, advocating for industry best practices and scaling via integrations.
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear product features delivering specific business and customer values for diverse audiences.
  • Represent customer needs to ensure user-friendly API Platform features.
  • Define and prioritize the technical product roadmap based on market needs, customer feedback, and business value.
  • Work cross-functionally across development, DevOps, engineering leadership, and customer-facing teams to make our platform future-proof.
  • Act as the voice of the market and the customer, collaborating closely with Product leadership on feature prioritization and the product roadmap.
  • Envision the evolution of the Convoso platform to enable and accelerate integration into partner ecosystems; communicate with engineering teams on ideation, conceptualization, execution, testing, and improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.
  • 5 - 10 years in product management, focusing on modern B2B SaaS solutions, preferably in CCaaS, Lead Generation, or Customer Experience (CX) industries.
  • 5+ years of experience in a software engineering or development role, ideally within CCaaS, UCaaS, or other CX platforms with a dialer component.
  • Experience building and evolving core platforms and API integrations is required.
  • Familiarity with Call Tracking/Routing Platforms and real-time Revenue Execution Platforms is preferred.
  • Proven ability to engage directly with architects and engineers to ensure that solutions meet both business needs and technical specifications.
  • Deep understanding and proven experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong focus on customer needs, with a track record of successful interactions and relationship building.
  • Passion for resourceful and innovative problem-solving, with a holistic approach that considers the end-to-end user experience and overall functionality.
  • Proven ability to foster constructive and collaborative relationships with engineers, product designers, and company executives.
  • Capability to manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates must be residents of the following U.S. states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia.
  • Candidates in the PST time zone preferred.
  • Ability to communicate easily and effortlessly with engineering teams on ideation, conceptualization, execution, testing, and improvement of the core platform is a must.
