Develop and execute an aggressive plan and strategy for lead generation and qualification of prospect SMB client accounts ranging below 1,000 lives
Strategically manage the sales process including high volume requests for proposals (RFPs), contract negotiations and deal closings
Develop relationships with direct prospects, brokers, consultants, and other distribution partners
Perform pipeline tracking and sales process reporting
Collaborate with ComPsych’s business leaders to portray ComPsych's services and value proposition
Work with account management team on renewal processes
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience selling business services in one of the following areas: EAP and Work-Life Services; Health and Wellness Programs; Outsourced HR Services (Benefit Administration, Payroll, FMLA, etc.)
Established list of key HR and/or benefit consultant contacts for immediate utilization
Proven track record having consistently exceeded sales quotas in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to manage a complex sales process of prospecting, lead qualification, sales strategy development and relationship building
Analytical, organizational and planning skills for forecasting, pipeline tracking and reporting
Strong communication and presentation skills; experience cold calling and meeting with senior executives
Bachelor's degree required and a stable work history
Strong attention to detail
Occasional work travel required (annual sales meetings, client meetings, etc.)
