Technical Customer Success Manager

General Counsel

• Review, negotiate, and draft a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, customer agreements, partnership agreements, and licensing agreements
• Provide proactive legal advice to internal stakeholders on commercial matters, risk management, and compliance issues
• Ensure that Commure’s commercial practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, including data privacy, intellectual property, and industry-specific regulations
• Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and product development, to support business objectives and address legal challenges

Senior Commercial Counsel

• Oversee the end-to-end billing process, ensuring customer contracts and order forms are accurately translated into invoices.
• Partner with Sales Operations and Legal to review non-standard billing terms and ensure they are executable within our systems.
• Maintain and update billing policies to ensure consistent application across various healthcare tech products and pricing models.
• Resolve complex billing discrepancies by performing root-cause analysis and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
• Lead the global collections strategy to minimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and reduce bad debt exposure.
• Monitor aging reports and oversee the escalation process for delinquent accounts while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Perform periodic credit reviews and provide recommendations for credit limits or payment terms for new and existing customers.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly AR close processes, including reconciliations, bad debt reserve analysis, and management reporting.
• Assist in implementing process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to scale billing and collection operations.
• Partner with Revenue/Sales Operations to optimize NetSuite, Salesforce, and specialized billing/collection automation tools.
• Support external financial audits by preparing AR-related PBC schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Assist with IPO readiness activities, including documentation of the order-to-cash cycle and enhancement of SOX-compliant controls.

Manager, Billing & Collection Operations

• Lead all defensive and offensive commercial litigation, from pre-suit strategy through trial and appeal, including matters in Delaware Chancery Court and other jurisdictions
• Manage employment litigation and pre-litigation disputes, including wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage-and-hour claims
• Own alternative dispute resolution (ADR) strategy and execution, including mediation and arbitration proceedings
• Select, retain, and manage outside counsel across all active matters. Set and enforce litigation budgets, negotiate fee arrangements, and hold firms accountable for value.
• Direct discovery strategy, including document preservation, collection, review, and production. Coordinate internal fact-finding and witness preparation
• Draft, review, and edit pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement documents in coordination with outside counsel
• Advise leadership on litigation risk, exposure analysis, and settlement strategy. Provide clear, actionable recommendations on when to fight and when to resolve
• Build and maintain litigation hold processes, playbooks, and internal policies to reduce the company’s litigation risk profile over time

Litigation Counsel

Full-stack Engineer

• Design and implement complex integration solutions between our platform and third-party healthcare systems (EHRs, insurance providers, etc.) while ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, and healthcare) to gather integration requirements, define technical approaches, and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
• Contribute to the technical direction of the integration platform by proposing and implementing improvements to architecture, tools, and technologies.
• Take ownership of end-to-end integration workflows, from design and development through to deployment and post-launch monitoring.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot integration issues, and proactively improve the reliability of integrations in production environments.
• Ensure all integration work adheres to healthcare compliance and security standards (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR) and collaborate with security teams to protect sensitive data.
• Work closely with junior engineers to provide technical guidance and mentorship, helping them solve problems and ensuring high-quality code standards are followed.
• Drive the implementation of best practices for integration development, including testing, error handling, version control, and continuous integration.
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to implement monitoring and alerting systems that ensure integration reliability and system health in production.
