• Refine content delivered by internal scientific subject matter experts (SMEs) and apply into well-polished eLearning courses and other training programs/materials (in adherence to company brand and process standards)

Associate, Instructional Design

General Counsel

• Review, draft and negotiate agreements with customers, vendors, suppliers, consultants and other company business partners.
• Work collaboratively and effectively with internal business partners.
• Consider and respond to legal questions and issues from internal business partners, focusing on understanding their needs and producing viable and tangible solutions that effectively manage legal and financial risk.
• Ongoing review and feedback on company contract templates.
• Continue to seek and recommend greater efficiency in the company’s contracting processes.
• Ensure agreements are properly executed, recorded and stored.
• Maintaining oversight over and provide advice on compliance with medical device and other applicable regulations to Cogstate’s business activities
• Developing and maintaining corporate policies, procedures and programs that align with the company’s business objectives; conduct training with respect thereto as requested.
• Understanding the other main applicable laws and regulations impacting the company’s business and recommending appropriate risk mitigation activities.
• Assist the General Counsel in the development, maintenance and improvement of the company’s data privacy policies, processes, and procedures; make appropriate recommendations to the CFO; conduct training with respect thereto as requested.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal and international data privacy and security laws.
• Drafting and negotiating data privacy and security agreements for Clinical Trials, Research and Healthcare, including data processing addendums, standard contractual clauses and business associate agreements.
• Perform legal research as needed in support of Key Accountabilities or on other topics as otherwise requested by the General Counsel (e.g., Human Resources policies and practices.

Corporate Counsel

Full-stack Engineer

• Develop clean code, reusable components, and unit tests.
• Develop feature functionality within the platform framework for product specific requirements, while still maintaining re-use and leveraging design patterns.
• Review other developer’s code.
• Understand and evaluate user stories, workflows and wireframes.
• Identify functionality contained within our platform library as well as contribute to its capabilities.
• Collaborate with product managers, expand upon desired functionality and provide technical approaches that accomplish the product needs.
• Work with project management to orchestrate current work and planning of future work.

Senior Software Engineer

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Create Pricing for customer proposals based on RFP’s received, internal inputs, and within company approved standards.
• Assist Project Managers in the creation or review of customer change in scope pricing (Change Orders)
• Coordination and development of all pricing & Forecast Trackers on newly signed projects, with ongoing support and analysis across all projects.
• Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support.
• Participate in constant review of customer profitability analysis to ensure key divisional KPIs are achieved

Coordinator, People Operations – Clinician Network

Director

• Drive the learning services roadmap, including instructional design standards, learning technology enhancements and adoption, and process optimization.
• Partner with science and other cross-functional teams to oversee the design and development of eLearning, blended learning, and instructor-led training programs for clinical raters and site personnel.
• Provide thought leadership in adult learning, virtual training, and learning analytics within the context of clinical trial training.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders in the management and delivery of complex company initiatives that support phase I-IV clinical trials.
• Actively engage in discussions and planning sessions sharing new and better ways of delivering best in class learning technology and learning solutions methodologies.
• Ensure alignment to company process/SOPs and industry regulations when implementing new learning systems and projects.

Project Manager

• Manage projects and execute tasks in line with company SOPs and agreed regulatory standards.
• Manage client relationships as main POC for individual studies and some sponsor portfolios.
• Independently lead Cogstates complex global clinical trials projects, including implementation of projects with new service offerings in scope.
• Manage Clinical Trials projects in Start-Up, Conduct or Close-Out phases (multiple projects at one time).
• Proactively manage risks, guiding team members through challenges and making decisive, well-informed decisions.
• Attend Investigator Meetings (as needed) and ensure Cogstate is well represented.
• Work in an Agile environment with a given Portfolio Team.
• Oversight of resourcing and financials across a Portfolio of Projects; ensure team members follow pre-determined hours allocated in budget to target gross profit.
• Generate invoices for assigned projects in alignment with expected timelines and project progress and forecast invoicing.

Senior Project Manager, Clinical Trials

Designer

• Design, develop, deliver and maintain e-learning content focused on topics related to Cogstate products and staff training
• Create engaging and compelling eLearning courses (device agnostic) in partnership with internal subject matter experts (SMEs)
• Consult with key stakeholders to identify education and enablement needs and make solution recommendations
• Oversee program execution and ensure deliverables are completed on time with high quality and adhere to company standards
• Review and update course content during each product/patch-release cycle
• Respond to inquiries using good judgement, tact and courtesy, sometimes in stressful situations
• Stay up to date with Storyline 360 updates and new features
• Collaborate across functional areas with relevant team members and support externally-focused learning programs for sponsor project teams, site staff, and caregivers
• Communicate extensively across multiple time zones with staff, Sponsors and clinical sites globally
