About the role
- Lead processes related to strategic business development and running fundraisings, acquisitions, partnership processes or other high-stakes relationships (OEM, new business development, resellers, technology partners)
- Contribute to Cognite’s M&A agenda as a key contributor to Cognite’s growth
- Together with the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team, help articulate Cognite’s corporate strategy and run corresponding strategic cross-functional initiatives
- Help drive efficient processes towards Cognite’s Board of Directors and key shareholders to ensure they are up-to-date on the progress of the company and make efficient decisions
- Building out our Partner Network, including close work with companies across the Aker ecosystem.
- Engage with the investor network with investor relations support - including building towards a potential IPO
- Collaborate with finance on corporate finance tasks, including KPIs and reporting
Requirements
- 3-6 years experience in Consulting, Corporate Finance, M&A, Investment Banking, Venture/startup, or Corporate development
- Curious and passionate to learn about software and technology - technical understanding, e.g. from an engineering background (software or other) is a plus
- Ideal candidates will have completed a Master's degree or similar in Engineering, Finance, Business or alike.
- Profound interest in how technology can solve key business problems in the industrial world
- Strong operational grit and ability to get stuff done!
