About the role
- Identify and target prospective GC's, businesses, and property groups in the commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline across North Carolina
- Conduct market research to stay current with industry trends and competitor offerings
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients and serve as point of contact
- Understand client needs and create tailored electrical service solutions
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, develop detailed proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals
- Coordinate with Budget & Estimating and Leadership teams to ensure smooth project delivery and address client concerns
- Track and report sales activities, meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, and provide market feedback to leadership
- Develop sales campaigns, share best practices, and support team development while staying informed on compliance standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B outside sales, account executive, or relationship management experience
- Background in electrical contracting, construction, or facilities management is a strong plus
- Familiarity with the Raleigh, NC market and surrounding regions
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Relationship-driven, client-focused, and proven closer selling services
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills
- Self-starter, highly organized, and detail-oriented
