About the role
- Champion collaboration platforms and drive enterprise-wide adoption (Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Viva Engage)
- Design and implement strategies and roadmaps across the infrastructure collaboration portfolio
- Develop roadmap for evolution from current to future state
- Identify and document technical and architecture requirements for solutions and third-party partners
- Assess and review architectural implementation of systems and projects to ensure conformance with standards
- Document all architecture design and analysis work
- Collaborate with business partners, software engineers, technology and operations leadership to advance business outcomes
- Work with 3rd party vendors and Managed Services to develop and implement technology-enabled roadmaps
- Verify compliance with all technical requirements
- Train and act as a resource for Infrastructure architecture team members and IT peers
- Resolve complex issues up to the executive level; provide proactive troubleshooting and personalized service
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related computing major required or equivalent experience
- Typically 8 years of experience designing and implementing infrastructure solutions in Microsoft 365, Office 365, etc.
- Prior vendor management experience
- Candidate location in US-based Central or Eastern time zones
- Ability to work from within the United States (work cannot be performed from outside of the United States)
- Strong knowledge of physical and virtual computing
- Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and estimate financial impact
- Technical ability to serve as subject matter expert, lead architect, and mentor
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, planning and organizational skills
- Experience engaging with senior IT and business leaders to promote adoption and foster cross-functional partnerships (preferred)
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related computing major (preferred)
