About the role
- Provide input into Infrastructure Engineering strategy and plans for a domain or function within the engineering field
- Lead and ensure proper execution of company-wide project plans and performance requirements for all stages/phases through advising and influencing stakeholders, clients, and leaders
- Assess effectiveness of existing infrastructure technology and tools and make and implement recommendations to ensure security, efficiency, reliability, and resiliency
- Lead initiatives to analyze and solve complex infrastructure problems using advanced design and broad IT knowledge, including increasing automation across the organization
- Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, vendors, and internal partners to resolve major infrastructure and tool challenges
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
- 0-3 years of experience in software development required
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
- Subject matter expertise in several tools and technologies used within infrastructure engineering
- Proven leadership experience managing human capital resources and collaborating with external vendors, internal partners, and business teams to resolve major infrastructure and tool challenges
