Manage internal IT-related projects, such as software rollouts or policy updates by coordinating between MSP, internal stakeholders, and your team members.
Ensure that tasks are completed related to onboardings, offboardings, license allocation, support queries, etc.
Depending on the task, you may complete the task yourself, leverage your team or have an MSP complete the task.
Manage MSPs to make sure SLAs are met and supported and projects happen correctly
Ensure correct inventory of company hardware and software assets, serial numbers, assignments, and device health.
Ensure company-wide adherence to IT policies and procedures through both systems level controls and training.
Improve IT operations and employee experience.
Requirements
Currently working as the head of IT operations for a 100 to 500 person organization with responsibility for processes, operations, documentation and suppliers
Strong experience with IT Operations in a remote-first company
Experience with implementing or maintaining a zero-trust IT environment with Google Workspace and Microsoft products.
At least 3 years total IT Operations experience
Proven track record of IT team leadership, ensuring task completion, process ownership and vendor management.
Strong understanding of: Google Workspace Admin (hands-on as a user) Endpoint management (Microsoft Endpoint Manager & Apple devices) Zero trust security principles Collaboration tools (e.g. Zoom, Slack, etc.)
Exceptional organizational skills including ability to create/maintain specifications, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills and good at explaining IT processes clearly to a non-technical audience.
