About the role
- Operate as a trusted advisor, consulting with PTBPs and senior business leaders on complex organizational issues
- Conduct complex and thorough investigations into employee relations matters and provide objective recommendations
- Adhere to service level agreements, maintain case management system usage, documentation, and reporting
- Build, analyze, and maintain ER metrics and present data quarterly to People Team partners
- Conduct in-depth root cause analysis of ER trends and present data-driven stories to influence talent decisions
- Provide advice and guidance to managers on employee performance issues and administer PIP or Package processes
- Partner with Learning and Development to develop training workshops, classes, and toolkits for leaders
- Assist with updating Company policies and responding to inquiries and concerns
- Lead and coordinate major global ER projects requiring analysis and innovative solutions
- Partner cross-functionally with Legal Compliance, Payroll, Benefits, and other departments to resolve employee issues
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years serving on a People/HR team
- Minimum 6 years in an Employee Relations capacity
- Strong knowledge of pertinent employment laws
- Outstanding judgment and ability to balance company, manager, and employee needs
- Experience developing strong relationships and operating effectively in virtual and distributed environments
- Solution-focused mindset and experience designing and leading change strategies for complex initiatives
- Strategic business acumen and experience partnering closely with business leaders
- High emotional intelligence and exceptional written and verbal communication
- Experience advising on performance management, PIP or Package process administration
