About the role
- Optimize and maintain the Workday HCM platform to support efficient and effective HR operations
- Collaborate with HR, IT, finance, and business stakeholders to configure business processes, ensure data accuracy, and deliver reporting and insights
- Lead Workday HCM implementations and enhancements, ensuring system functionality aligns with strategic HR and organizational goals
- Configure, test, and deploy enhancements and business processes in Workday HCM
- Serve as the SME for Workday HCM, providing guidance and training to HR and business users
- Monitor and resolve system issues and recommend and implement improvements
- Develop and maintain custom reports (e.g., Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and dashboards
- Ensure data integrity through audits and support of HR data governance
- Design and streamline business processes in alignment with compliance and policy
- Lead and support Workday HCM implementations, module rollouts, and upgrades
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify configuration strategies and system improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, or a related field
- Eight to ten years of experience working in HR
- Five or more years of hands-on experience working with HRIS with experience in multiple areas, including payroll, time, benefits, compensation, recruiting, learning, and talent
- One to three years of Workday HCM experience
- Strong experience in configuring Workday HCM business processes
- Proven ability to build and maintain Workday reports
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Experience in at least one full-cycle Workday implementation
- Experience in Workday security role management
- Experience rolling out HR system changes to organizational users
