About the role
- Address legal requests seeking customer information and perform account reviews to assist in combating abuse in line with Cloudflare’s Terms of Service.
- Administer efficient and compliant handling of legal requests, including but not limited to requests for information (subpoenas, court orders, etc) from law enforcement and government officials and in response to third-party civil matters.
- Perform operations to meet Service-Level Agreement (SLA) delivery while maintaining high quality and accuracy.
- Partner with cross functional teams including Public Policy, Legal, and Product Engineering teams to ensure policies and processes are carried out in a scalable fashion.
- Deal with sensitive content and emotionally charged escalations with tact and a calm demeanor.
- Participate in a rotating weekend coverage duty.
- Gain familiarity with the inner workings of Cloudflare's technology and policies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of legal support experience processing requests for user information, legal documents, or other relevant background experience in Trust & Safety.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of DNS and how the Internet works.
- Experience managing sensitive content and emotionally charged escalations with tact and a calm demeanor.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks to completion.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguous matters.
- A great attitude and team player.
