The role is to cultivate relationships with state and local agencies and close large strategic deals within an assigned territory to meet sales targets.

Responsibilities include developing a strategic territory plan, managing/creating sales opportunities, forecasting in CRM (HubSpot), educating on upcoming RFPs, leading executive summaries, and negotiating contracts.
Travel up to 50% is expected.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully selling to and closing enterprise opportunities with State and Local Agencies.
Experience creating partnerships and alliances with System Integrators, technology companies and other organizations to win programs in the SLED space.
Knowledge of and proven experience moving deals through State and Local government procurement processes and contracts.
Knowledge of funding sources and processes and ability to cultivate those sources.
