About the role
- Drive sales and implement strategies and promotions to achieve retail store targets
- Create memorable, inclusive shopping experiences and provide fashion-related tips
- Conduct piercings, educate on aftercare, and maintain a sterile environment
- Oversee store operations including inventory management, cash transactions, and POS
- Manage visual merchandising and coordinate promotional activities
- Recruit, train, manage, and develop store team members
- Foster a culture of collaboration, motivation, and accountability
- Represent the Claire's brand and ensure store reflects latest trends
Requirements
- Ability to conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy
- Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist
- Proficient in operating a POS system
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of retail management experience (at least one year preferred)
- Ability to stand during scheduled shifts
- Ability to maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs)
- Ability to bend, stoop, extended reaching, and climb ladders or step stools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong grasp of mathematics for inventory, sales analysis, and cash handling
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- Driven team leader with positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Passion for fashion and ability to create curated fashion looks during shifts
