About the role
- Drive retail sales and implement strategies and promotions to increase traffic and revenue
- Provide memorable customer experiences, including fashion advice and product recommendations
- Conduct piercings, educate on aftercare, and maintain a sterile environment
- Oversee store operations: inventory management, cash transactions, visual merchandising, and promotions
- Recruit, train, manage, and develop the store team; foster collaboration and accountability
- Ensure the store is well-merchandised and reflects current trends to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations
Requirements
- Can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers
- Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist and provide expert guidance to customers
- Proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of retail management experience (preferred)
- Ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs)
- Ability to bend, stoop, extended reaching, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Possess a strong grasp of mathematics for inventory, sales analysis, and cash handling
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- Driven team leader with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Passion for fashion and ability to create a curated fashion look during shifts
