About the role
- Take ownership of store sales by delivering outstanding customer experience, upselling products, and implementing promotions to maximize revenue
- Provide personalized styling advice, recommend add-ons, and enhance customers' shopping journey
- Become a trusted piercing specialist through training and provide safe, professional piercing services
- Maintain inventory accuracy, handle transactions efficiently, and keep the store well-merchandised and visually appealing
- Train and motivate team members alongside the Store Manager to achieve sales goals and deliver customer service
- Showcase Claire's products and services, stay up to date with fashion trends, and translate knowledge into product recommendations
Requirements
- Can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers
- Proficient in operating a POS system
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of retail management experience
- Minimum of one year of overall retail experience
- Ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs)
- Ability to bend, stoop, extended reaching, and climb ladders or step stools
- Passionate about providing customers opportunities to express themselves
- Energized by interacting with customers and strive to provide excellent service
- Inspired by values of teamwork, compassion, integrity, customer delight, diversity, and self-expression
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling
- Driven team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Self-motivated and organized; able to work alone when required
- Passion for fashion and staying up to date with trends
- Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist
