About the role
- Crush sales goals by delivering next-level customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting promotions to drive revenue.
- Conduct piercings after comprehensive training; maintain a sterile environment and educate customers on aftercare.
- Maintain store displays, organized inventory, and easy-to-shop layouts; perform visual merchandising.
- Support Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales tips, and creating a positive, high-energy store environment.
- Represent the Claire's brand; stay current with fashion and social media trends to assist customers and boost sales.
- Oversee store operations including managing inventory, handling cash transactions, coordinating promotional activities, and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Encourage customers to share purchases and piercings on social media to drive brand engagement.
Requirements
- You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers.
- You are proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
- You have completed some high school.
- At least one year of retail management experience.
- At least one year of retail experience, ideally with some leadership or sales-driving responsibility.
- Ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs).
- Ability to bend, stoop, extended reaching, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
- Passionate about providing customers opportunities to express themselves and energized by interacting with customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
- Driven team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated and organized; able to work alone in some stores.
- Passion for fashion and ability to create a curated fashion look with product during your shift.
