About the role
- Take ownership of store sales by delivering outstanding customer experience, upselling products, and implementing promotions to maximize revenue
- Use enthusiasm and product knowledge to provide personalized styling advice, recommend add-ons, and enhance customer shopping journey
- Become a trusted piercing specialist through our training program and provide safe, fun, and professional piercing experiences
- Ensure the store runs smoothly by maintaining inventory accuracy, handling transactions efficiently, and keeping the store well-merchandised and visually appealing
- Work alongside your Store Manager to train and motivate team members in achieving sales goals and delivering top-notch customer service
- Showcase Claire's products and services with enthusiasm and stay up to date with the latest fashion trends to translate knowledge into compelling product recommendations and styling tips for customers
Requirements
- You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers
- You are proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently
- You hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of retail management experience
- At least one year of overall retail experience
- You can stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs)
- You can bend, stoop, extended reaching, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers
- Passionate about providing customers with opportunities to express themselves
- Energized by interacting with customers and strive to provide excellent service throughout their visit
- Inspired by values of teamwork, compassion, integrity, customer delight, diversity, and self-expression
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, employees, and management
- Possess a strong grasp of mathematics, essential for tasks such as inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling
- Driven team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Self-motivated and organized, as some stores may require working alone at times
- Passion for fashion and stay up to date with the latest trends
- Ability to create a curated fashion look with product during shift
- Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist and provide expert guidance to customers
