About the role
- Take ownership of store sales by delivering outstanding customer experience, upselling products, and implementing promotions to maximize revenue
- Provide personalized styling advice, recommend add-ons, and enhance the shopping journey
- Become a trusted piercing specialist through training and provide a safe, fun, and professional experience
- Maintain inventory accuracy, handle transactions efficiently, and keep the store well-merchandised and visually appealing
- Work alongside the Store Manager to train and motivate team members to achieve sales goals and deliver top-notch customer service
- Showcase Claire's products and services with enthusiasm and stay up to date with the latest fashion trends
- Ensure operational excellence to drive foot traffic and store performance
Requirements
- You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers
- Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist and provide expert guidance to customers
- Proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of retail management experience
- At least one year of overall retail experience
- Ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs)
- Ability to bend, stoop, extended reaching, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise
- Passion for providing customers opportunities to express themselves
- Energized by interacting with customers and strive to provide excellent service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling
- Driven team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Self-motivated and organized; able to work alone at times
- Passion for fashion and staying up to date with latest trends
- Ability to create a curated fashion look with product during shift
