About the role

  • Civica makes software for public sector organisations (local to state government, education, health and care) used by over 5,000 public bodies and 100 million citizens.
  • Aspires to be a GovTech champion globally and supports citizen outcomes.
  • Identify, target, and secure high-value opportunities within the education sector (new business development).
  • Lead and close complex enterprise-level deals, including multi-year contracts and cross-portfolio solution sales.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outreach, networking, events, and targeted campaigns.
  • Act as an executive sponsor for major accounts to ensure delivery against client strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and delivery teams to execute go-to-market strategies that drive retention and acquisition.
  • Track and report performance against sales targets, pipeline health, and emerging market trends.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of enterprise software sales and the education technology market.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles, multi-stakeholder environments, and long-term account planning.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and influencing skills; ability to build trusted C-suite relationships.
  • Proven track record in new business acquisition and strategic account growth within SaaS and enterprise solutions.
  • Executive-level presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex solutions into compelling value propositions for senior decision makers.
