About the role
- Establishes and oversees the application of operational risk policies, technology and tools, and governance processes to minimize losses
- Independently assesses risks and drives actions to address root causes of operational risk losses
- Provides governance and oversight (including technology operational risk) and acts as subject matter expert for Issues Management (KPI/KRI/Corrective Action Plans)
- Resolves transactional level escalations from vendors or internal partners
- Analyzes scorecards and performance management tools to mitigate exposure (risk/financial/regulatory)
- Monitors goals through performance, risk and relationship oversight of the extended supply chain
- Collaborates to resolve issues within contract terms and develops/maintains relationships across business users and Lines of Defense
- Operates with limited supervision, exercises independent judgment, and advises senior stakeholders while driving compliance with laws, policies and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements
- 6-10 years experience navigating and networking across an enterprise utilizing internal and external resources
- Third Party Oversight/Vendor Oversight experience preferred
- Business writing experience preferred
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
- Developed communication and diplomacy skills
- Recognized technical authority for an area within the business
