Manage a team/department to provide regulatory & financial analysis and reporting in coordination with the Finance team
Develop reporting and control procedures to accurately prepare information required for financial and regulatory reporting and analysis
Ensure business/department financials are prepared and delivered in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain accuracy and timeliness in preparation of financial and regulatory reporting
Ensure accounting is in compliance with Local IFRS and Regulatory Reporting requirements
Provide meaningful business insights through strong analytical work
Build and maintain team engagement; identify, motivate, train and develop talent
Build and maintain relationships with regulators, auditors and stakeholders
Influence and work through conflicts; multi-task under strict deadlines in a fast paced environment
Assess risk and escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency
Requirements
At least 10 years of work experience as a finance professional in either a bank, financial institution or accountancy firm with direct responsibility for reporting or audit work of financial institutions
Strong Regulatory Reporting experience
Familiar with HKMA/SFC reporting experience
Strong understanding of Local Financial (IFRS) and Regulatory Reporting requirements
Education: Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Chartered Accountant or CPA preferred
Excellent analytical background and skill sets to come up with meaningful business insights
Ability to maintain accuracy and timeliness in the preparation of financial and regulatory reporting
Build and maintain high level of engagement within the team; identify, motivate, train and develop talent
Strong team player with ability to build strong relationships and interact with all levels in the organization
Build and maintain relationships with Regulators & Auditors
Strong influencing skills and ability to work through conflicts
Ability to multi-task under strict deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
