About the role
- The CHB Delivery Associate is responsible for coordinating and executing shipments to ensure service levels of clients are met on a daily basis. Supports a small group of client accounts by expediting their shipments from start to finish; develop familiarity with their import programs and products; coordinate file processing with team members and other Company work groups. Own all CHB operations services for assigned customers including customer service, processing Customs entries and PGA for clearance, opening entry files, processing entries according to KPI, coordinating clearance with forwarders/lines/airlines, completing billing and reports, tracking inbound shipments, coordinating delivery from airline/ocean piers/CFS to customer, ensuring documentation uploaded into operating system, maintain customer SOPs and updates.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CHB experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently
- Persistently drives issues to closure
- Well organized, detail oriented – especially when working under pressure
- Works together with others in the business unit to achieve results, fosters teamwork
- Ability to multi-task in a face paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required, or equivalent work experience
- Customs House Brokerage License preferred but not required
- You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
