💰 $81,600 - $122,400 per year
About the role
- Participate in the application of operational risk policies, technology and tools, and governance processes to minimize losses from failed internal processes and inadequate controls
- Contribute to risk assessments and drive actions to address root causes that lead to operational risk losses
- Provide governance and oversight, potentially including technology operational risk
- Evaluate the control environment and ensure appropriate controls are in place
- Coordinate audits, examinations, and deliverable requirements from internal and external reviewers
- Support coordinating activities to ensure project completion, special assignments, and ad hoc activities
- Ensure the Operations Team is in compliance with all regulatory policies and procedures
- Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members; coach and train new recruits
- Appropriately assess and escalate risk, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements
- 5-8 years relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer focused with excellent Interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment collaborating across diverse groups
- Demonstrated understanding of operational risk and gap identification
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to present a compelling case to influence others where appropriate
- SCRA regulatory policies and procedures knowledge
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
