About the role
- Calls on clients to deepen relationships and proactively anticipate needs, roadblocks, risks and expectations
- Introduces solutions and works with product specialists to structure innovative and customized solutions
- Works closely with Case Manager on onboarding and retention, ensuring KYC and other compliance deliverables are met
- Identifies cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet and shares market updates and intelligence
- Drives innovation in client solutions and executes strategic initiatives launched centrally
- Networks with clients to identify new business opportunities and administrates the credit relationship end-to-end
- Coordinates and supervises the credit process, ensuring proper application of policies and institutional processes
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies; assesses risk and escalates control issues transparently
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in banking and relationship management
- Sound knowledge of banking and investment products and processes; track record of providing banking and financial advice and solutions to clients
- Intermediate to advanced credit skills; capable of structuring complex and global transactions
- Expert level Early Warning Detection skills and credit-process knowledge; able to guide staff through credit deal approvals
- Advanced Citi credit-process and credit-appetite knowledge
- Ability to work effectively in team settings and coordinate multi-functional teams
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (negotiation, consultative, leadership)
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions; highly focused and able to rapidly identify priorities
- Proactive approach to strengthening client relationships and delivering a secure, seamless client experience
- Ability to embrace digital technology and adapt priorities based on data insights
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
