Ownership of Contract Management within assigned GPO member accounts and manage day-to-day contractual account operations
Directly manage relationships with assigned GPO accounts and potentially manage GPOs
Develop account-specific business plans, execute against them, and provide quarterly business updates
Lead bi-weekly business teleconferences, create business plans, support product launches and updates, and develop access metric reports
Present contract proposals and deliver supporting educational information to execute contract strategies and ensure contract awareness
Ensure launch readiness with accounts for Eisai in-market products and collaborate with sales regions on account penetration
Complete administrative responsibilities: monthly reports, expense reports, team meetings, and various required reports
Collaborate with internal partners (Payer Account Executives, Area Business Leaders, Brand and Sales management, Finance, Pricing, Contracting, Patient Services)
Understand market coverage/reimbursement issues, payer policies, competitive reimbursement landscape, trends, pricing, contracting strategies, and barriers to provider and patient access
Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and guidelines and implement Company policies
Requirements
Four-year college degree or higher (MBA/MS preferred; PhD a plus)
Minimum 8 years pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience in Marketing, Sales, or Market Access
Minimum 3 years in pharmaceutical/biotech large account management roles
3-5 years' experience in GPO or large account management with focus on contract and direct account management
Strong understanding of healthcare dynamics, contract management strategy, and healthcare reimbursement
Knowledge of priority regional accounts/markets
Solid business acumen and strong customer orientation
Strong business and analytical background
Previous people leadership/direct management experience preferred
Strong negotiating, influencing, relationship and selling skills
Excellent business writing and presentation skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Excel
Ability to work in a fast paced, matrixed, multinational work environment
Extensive travel (70%) to accounts as assigned
Must be able to engage in person with HCPs and other third parties; may require third-party credentialing/vaccination
