About the role
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for veterinary practices to purchase medications online for pet customer resale and in-office visits
- Work directly with enterprise customers to create/scale new products and services offerings
- Serve as a cross-organizational product and business leader; identify opportunities and risks, and drive accountability for goals and key performance indicators across verticals and business units
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Merchandising, Operations, and Customer Service, to ensure successful product development and launch
- Develop and maintain product roadmap and prioritize product backlog ensuring product vision aligns with both customer and business goals
- Define and analyze measures of success (KPIs) for new features and enhancements; transform insights into clear requirements
- Monitor performance of products and measure impact of product enhancements; communicate impact across the organization to drive prioritization
- Collaborate with analytics, data science, design and engineering resources to deliver features with strong customer and business value
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven product management experience
- Proficient in analyzing and effectively communicating metrics to support recommendations
- Experience in B2B product management will be a plus
- Sustained track record of driving business value and improving product with data insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience presenting to senior executives
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to drive initiatives from conception to completion
- BS in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; or equivalent experience
- Passion and curiosity
- Flexibility for periodic travel (10%-20%)
- Bonus: Experience with system integration and API development, preferably with enterprise-level systems in the Vet industry
- Bonus: Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial and fast paced culture
