Define development and growth strategies with the Head of Travel Retail, Europe for the designated accounts and implement them successfully in stores
Deliver sell-out in line with forecast commitments
Identify and capitalise on opportunities to drive brand awareness, performance, and market share across the region
Build strong relationships with retailer contacts to optimise brand presence, maximize share of voice, and negotiate joint trading plans
Deliver regular business/sales updates and critical market insights, acting as the connection between stores and the Magic Office
Lead quarterly business reviews and half-year external strategy meetings, producing strong insights and action-driven 360 plans
Recruit high performing Retail teams for each store launch with the people partner
Set ambitious and achievable sales targets to the field teams
Lead and inspire your team of business managers and retail artists
Address performance and engagement needs; build an environment of inclusion and motivation
Work with the field training manager to ensure commercial and development training needs are met within the region
Collaborate with Travel Retail Marketing & VM teams to develop trade plans and on-counter activities
Launch and sustain new products and campaigns as per the global Travel Retail Marketing strategy
Conduct monthly retail forecasting by store with the Head of Travel Retail, Europe
Forecast and manage all retail staffing costs, including recommended FTEs, commissions and incentives
Manage T&E budget, staying within approved monthly expenditure
Set standards for executional excellence and work cross-functionally to enhance brand presentation and in-store execution (assortment, stock availability, price updates)
Report into the Head of Travel Retail - Continental EU and work closely with the wider commercial team
Account KPIs include retail sales achievement, market share gains, mystery shopping score and team turnover
Requirements
Must be able to travel within region and to Magic Office regularly. Roughly a 40/60 split
Extensive experience in retail or sales management, with direct experience in Travel Retail desirable but not mandatory
Strong people focus, team spirited and passionate about developing teams
Proven track record of successful negotiations & ability to influence others
