About the role
- Provide telehealth services including group, individual, and family therapy for mental health, substance use, and eating disorder clients
- Facilitate group sessions (maximum of 8 clients) and individual/family sessions
- Deliver personalized, virtual care rooted in connection and collaboration with care teams and loved ones
- Collaborate in case discussions and participate in clinical team activities
- Coordinate with Admissions team who handle scheduling, billing, and client communication
- Maintain and manage a caseload of motivated clients with support from Operations, HR, IT, and marketing
- Use cloud-based tools and EMR, and leverage AI-powered documentation to streamline clinical notes
- Schedule availability in evenings and some Saturdays as required; ensure consistent weekly group scheduling
Requirements
- Licensed mental health or substance use counselor (all disciplines are welcome to apply)
- Masters degree in mental health or related field
- Well versed in a variety of modalities and feel confident integrating them into your treatment approach (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification is a plus)
- Experience working with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults
- Passionate about the benefits of group treatment and skilled in conducting group treatment
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Creative and engaging, especially over video
- Must be available in the evenings to meet the schedules of our clients
- Availability between 12 and 40 hours per week depending on 1099 or W2
- Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication software—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox–and EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis
- Ability to dedicate a minimum of 12 hours per week for group sessions (for contract positions)
- May provide licensure supervision to junior-licensed individuals (if applicable)
