About the role
- Provide technical, management, and documentation support for a large Federal agency initiative.
- Supervising other staff members in support of the Records Information Manager V.
- Provide technical support for records management programs, dockets, records center, or other information services under supervision of a Records Information Manager V.
- Assist in planning and program development; analyze records or docket management problems; design strategies to meet ongoing records or docket management needs.
- Respond to inquiries; perform collection maintenance and retrieval tasks; review and input metadata; perform equipment maintenance.
- Use automated information systems such as the Federal Docket Management System (FDMS).
- Support RIM education and/or experience.
Requirements
- At Level IV, the personnel must have at least seven (7) years of records management experience.
- Experience with at least one automated information system is required.
- A college degree is preferred but not required.
- Supervising other staff members in support of the Records Information Manager V
- Provides technical support for records management programs, dockets, records center, or other information service under the supervision of a Records Information Manager V.
- May assist in planning and program development, analysis of records or docket management problems, and design of strategies to meet ongoing records or docket management needs.
- Specific technical duties may vary and include response to inquiries; collection maintenance and retrieval tasks; metadata review and input; equipment maintenance; and use of automated information systems, such as the Federal Docket Management System (FDMS).
