About the role
- Installs, debugs and provides technical maintenance for ATMs, retail and other equipment within an assigned customer and/or product area.
- Performs incident handling using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot hardware and software failures.
- Performs hardware repairs on a component level; cleans and adjusts mechanical components.
- Configures and installs applicable software and refills consumables as directed.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance according to documented procedures.
- Installs, moves, adds, changes and removes hardware and software products (IMAC/R).
- Instructs and trains customers on usage and operation of installed hardware and software.
- Receives incident briefings and orders from dispatch; updates dispatch on unforeseen issues and provides detailed briefings on performed activities.
- Proactively informs customers about status, progress and outcomes; observes technical or process problems and offers improvement recommendations.
- Actively uses corporate tools and processes for knowledge sharing and information gathering.
Requirements
- Education or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Field Service.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Driver's license and driving record that satisfies DN's fleet requirements.
