• As part of the Service Continuity Service Desk team, your focus is to keep services running smoothly and ensure work is ready for a clean handover into the next business day. This is an entry-level role, so we’re focused on attitude, reliability, and how you work, not years of experience.
• - Maintain service desk operations after hours, ensuring continuity of support overnight.
• - Complete all onboarding and offboarding tasks, including user accounts, access, devices, and documentation, following defined standards and checklists.
• - Respond to after-hours incidents and service interruptions, assess impact, and take appropriate first actions.
• - Action or triage support requests that cannot wait until business hours.
• - Escalate high-impact or urgent issues to on-call subject matter experts internally within CT.
• - Monitor service desk queues to prevent overnight backlog and ensure a smooth transition to day teams.
• - Log and update tickets clearly in ConnectWise, using standard templates and accurate impact statements.
• - Provide clear and meaningful status updates to customers and internal teams during outages, delays, or extended work.

Software Engineer

• Provide senior system programming support for the z/OS operating system and associated mainframe infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance and service stability.
• Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex incidents and technical issues, working collaboratively with internal teams, vendors and service providers to restore services and implement long-term solutions.
• Support the planning, design and implementation of system upgrades, infrastructure changes and technical projects affecting the mainframe environment.
• Maintain and improve operational procedures, technical standards and documentation to support consistent and reliable service delivery.

Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer

• Provide Level 1/2 Service Desk support for end-user issues across collaboration and productivity services, primarily within Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Troubleshoot common M365 issues including Outlook profiles and mailboxes, calendar access and sharing, Teams client/meeting issues, and OneDrive/SharePoint access.
• Support and maintain collaboration environments through minor M365 configuration changes, feature requests, service enhancements, and security posture improvements under guidance.
• Provide support for Audio Visual and meeting room technology, including Teams Rooms, conferencing devices, basic AV troubleshooting, and coordination with AV vendors as required.
• Act as an escalation point for the Phone Team, DSOs, and embedded team members on collaboration-related issues, and assist with major incident triage including tenant-wide M365 or conferencing outages.

• The Database Analyst is responsible for the maintenance, performance, integrity, and security of enterprise databases used across education environments. This includes supporting education-specific platforms (e.g., TASS, Synergetic, Schoolbox, Edval, Canvas) You will ensure the availability of data to end users while implementing policies and procedures for database governance, optimisation, and disaster recovery.
